So is this Phyrric victory, or is it a Phyrric defeat? Ryan Grim is on the more hopeful side and he seems to think this is a Phyrric defeat, which is a lot better than a P. victory.

Then, still ahead, await the Parliamentarian and the Supreme Court's response to all the law suites the far right, now in control of large parts of this country, and the powerful top ranks of the companies in the fossil-fuel business, are going to start soon enough.

Meantime, Nature cares not one little bit about these political machinations and goes on as it has of late, and that is not good for us humans, or birds, or, fish, or other mammals, big ad small. Even microbes.

In fact and accordingly, neither do I. I'll see what happens when it happens.

In the meantime, the burning question for me (and I imagine quite a few others) is: what can I do, personally and as part of a movement with a plan, to help save the future, well beyond not eating meat and buying an electric car?

Because this is first and foremost a time for action.
