There have been two major developments in the case of Tara Reade’s allegations against Joe Biden in the past few days, and they’re important to understand because they collectively tip the conversation about her away from her credibility and toward what to do now that her credibility is rather effectively established.
The rich and powerful have acted like the rich and powerful since time began. For the most part they are arrogant and act with impunity because their peers are all in the same boat and they pull the oars in tandem (stay in line or get out of the boat). JFK, Bill Clinton, Donald Trump, Joe Biden; they live their lives believing they can "grab 'em by the pussy" when the mood strikes them and their boatmates will close ranks. And every 4 years we have to hold our nose and vote for this lot. I am totally disgusted by this scenario but petrified that not voting for Sleepy Joe and "whomever" will allow someone worse into office. Any candidate with integrity (Bernie Sanders) gets assinated by the corporate media. It just sucks!
What a clusterfuck. Maybe whichever woman Biden picks should accept with the promise not to run in 2024. Would a nonincumbent Democratic slate be any worse? Would Warren make such a promise? Could she win if she were so tainted? As I said, a clusterfuck.
